The kids love going to Calico, it is the highlight of Thanksgiving. I like it because I get to stay behind and enjoy some quiet time! Not this year the kids wanted me to go really bad so I did. I do like the campfire and camp food and being with family, but I don't like that there are no bathrooms and running water :) Over all it was a nice trip until it started to rain the next day.

I'm so bummed none of us could go this year! We will be out there in April for Harley's first Calico trip! Glad you went Kallie! Too bad about the rain!!!
It has been years since we went camping in Calico...and I think the last time we were there it rained on us too! In fact, some of the boys left and went to a motel for the night! I stuck it out as the only one with an air mattress. :)
I can tell you made good family memories on your trip. Merry Christmas!
